CBD is used for Healing
Since ancient times there have been people who had the knowledge that Cannabis has healing substances. They have been using CBD for healing since ancient times and now in recent times scientists have discovered exactly how the healing effects work. Modern science explains Cannabis is predominantly made up of two molecules; CBD and THC. These are molecule groups which break down into the rest of their molecules.
CBD is an abbreviation for Cannabidiol and modern science explains there are 113 in existence. The interesting part is the human body naturally creates an endocannabinoid system within itself by the age of 3, so we already have cannabinoid receptors built inside our bodies.
CBD vs THC
Between the two molecular groups one has psychoactive effects, THC. And the other has physical healing effects, CBD. This is a general statement and both THC and CBD are used for healing and both have healing properties. THC is more catered towards psychological healing effects. For example it is very commonly used for helping people who unfortunately suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It’s interesting as historians have mentioned Cannabis has been used for the mental healing of warriors in ancient times as well.
